The experience begins promptly at 7pm so we urge you to arrive from 6.30pm when the doors to the reception area will be open. You will be offered a glass of bubbly on arrival while you wait for your party to arrive. On arrival we will ask you to leave your bags and phones in our luggage storage area, and we will return them to you after the experience is over.
For the first hour you will be moving quickly around the hotel, going up and down stairs so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. We recommend trainers or flat shoes. High heels and bare feet are not permitted during the activity. After the experience you will have a chance to change for dinner if you want to get dressed up!
Not at all! Think fun, Crystal Maze style puzzles while you race around the hotel in teams.
That is a surprise! But we promise you it’s good! You also get bragging rights and your winners photo on our Facebook page.
Don’t worry, you still get to stay overnight and enjoy the hotel, but you will have to make yourselves a commiseration cocktail instead of winning the ultimate prize!
Our 3 course dinner is served at 8.30pm.
This is your time to relax and spend time together with friends, family or colleagues. Our bar runs as late as you like and our bartender will cater to all requests. We have a hot tub and sauna in our spa area which you are free to use. There is a fireplace, Smart TV, and sound system in the main living area for your enjoyment.
We offer a fully equipped kitchen so you are welcome to bring food and cook for yourselves. Alternatively we offer a breakfast hamper package which gives you everything you need for a fry up, to save you going to the shop. There are also several places locally to go out for breakfast which we are happy to suggest on booking.
Check out is by 12pm the following day.
Due to the nature of the game, we have a minimum age of 16.
The experience begins strictly at 7pm so if you are late arriving you will miss the start of the experience. You will need to contact us on the number provided on booking to be let in to join your group.
Unfortunately the hotel is not wheelchair accessible and all of the bedrooms are on the second and third floors.
There are several flights of stairs in the hotel so if you have someone in your group with mobility issues they are welcome to just do the parts of the experience that they can manage. They will be able to enjoy all other aspects of your stay in full as long as they can manage the stairs up to their bedroom.
We have space for 20 cars in our free private car park behind the hotel.
